I have the best story!!! I am a fledgling photographer and was feeling a little resistance because business wasn’t growing the way I had hoped, I was behind on my studio rent and started to feel like maybe it wasn’t worth the leap of faith I took to open it. Well, I put it out to the universe that I will thrive and things will work out for me. Within 2 days I was asked to provide 300 brochures for a local fundraiser and another photographer who’s work I absolutely adore asked me to work with her on a wedding (an absolute dream) these things have the potential to thrust my dreams forward but did come about in unexpected ways! I have been trying to leave my job for a month or two, but I was so focused on money and how to get more money because i always fet that I never had ENOUGH (lack mindset) that I never left.
Eventually i decided enough is enough, I left with no plan but trusted that it was better to find something more fulfilling and not worry about money because it will come, (abundant mindset). Previous to this I have been trying to manifest new connections and deep relationships for months.
I just started volunteering at an art gallery and a wellness shop to spend my time consciously. I have already met 5 new people just this past week and had very deep conversations with 3 of them.
I think this shows the power of surrender / trust that manifestation requires.

Manifestation is a false truth. After a while I hope you will reflect on how you stand, spiritually, having practiced manifestation techniques. They will bring you kind of what you want, they appear shiny like a diamond at first, but quickly, if you're smart and have good discernment, you'll see they were in fact not real diamonds but fake ones. Manifestation and law of attraction only bring you a cheap counterfeit of what you truly want. This new age philosophy of naming it and claiming it is misleading so many people. I've tried it, and it only brought me brief happiness that then led to what felt like the ruining of my life. Thankfully that is all behind me.
Take this part or leave it: Manifestation is working with the world (the devil – the ruler of this world) to get what you want. The devil is full of lies, false "truths", and he seeks only to kill, steal, and destroy, and he nearly destroyed my life in trying all this new age garbage. When we think we are good without God, good on our own, we start demanding from the "universe" the things of our heart instead of just asking God. Newsflash: God loves you immensely; you are so precious to Him, more precious than the last gem on earth. He wants you to have the desires of your heart. if you ask Him (while following Him and His Word) He will give it to you. That is scriptural. That is the truth. I have witnessed real "diamonds" come into my life by asking God for them.
Take it from me, I've tried this manifestation stuff before and so have many others. Search for ex new age testimonies on YouTube. Look at Doreen Virtue and read her free ebook. Doreen had many success stories involving her new age teachings and practices. She even lived on a large ranch in Hawaii. But only after over 30 years did she realize her "fortunes" from manifesting didnt last. Consider picking up the book that has changed and truly blessed countless lives: the bible. Start with John and read the rest of the New Testament first including the other 3 gospels.
I'm not preaching hate but truth. Jesus is the truth. Remember that when your world comes crumbling down. He loves you and wants you to have a fulfilling life, but by playing with the enemy you will undoubtedly hit a spiritual roadblock.
2000 years ago God became a man Jesus of Nazareth and died on the cross to atone for our wrongdoing before God the father so that whoever believes in Jesus will have eternal life (and a fulfilling life on earth). Please take this to heart anyone who reads this. May you receive truth about new age practices and in turn recieve peace and blessings from God by following the Word in Jesus name. Amen.
